Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Lead experimental validation of qubit coherence at millikelvin temperatures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum architectures
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Secure $2M+ in government and private research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in cryogenic quantum systems and microwave engineering
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Track record of securing R&D funding
