Responsibilities

- Lead research in quantum error correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant computing by 2026
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for real-world industrial applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and collaborate with cross-functional teams at tech giants and academic institutions
- Secure external funding through NSF, DOE, and private foundation grants
- Contribute to patent portfolios protecting quantum computing innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
