Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and AI acceleration
- Lead prototyping of 500+ qubit quantum processors with error correction systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in government grants for quantum security initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics and topological qubit theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion traps
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Experience securing NSF or DARPA quantum research grants
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum state optimization
