Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum system stability and scalability
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to prototype and test quantum processor architectures
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development initiatives
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies through continuous learning programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave) or quantum cloud services
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing research
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms and their quantum implementations
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts clearly
