Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional research teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum solutions for 2026 deployment
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum threats and develop defensive quantum security frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects from concept to prototype
- Strong background in quantum cryptography and post-quantum security
