Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop novel quantum hardware prototypes with 100+ qubit coherence
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Publish findings in Nature/Science and present at quantum computing conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates and establish industry-academic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit design and error correction
- Published research in quantum computing or topological systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum processors
- Strong track record of securing research funding
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
