Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and optimization
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Develop scalable quantum software frameworks compatible with next-generation hardware
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)

- Expertise in at least one quantum hardware platform (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
