Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents for quantum computing methodologies
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards for 2026 infrastructure
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published work in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing topics
