We're seeking a visionary Quantum Computing Research Scientist to architect next-gen algorithms and solve previously impossible problems. Our interdisciplinary team collaborates with NASA, Intel, and academic pioneers to develop fault-tolerant quantum systems. Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead research on quantum error correction for scalable systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NSF grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning
- Develop patent-pending quantum encryption protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science quantum journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover, VQE)
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of securing government research grants
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing
