Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experiments with 100+ qubit quantum processors and analyze quantum error correction techniques
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for commercial applications
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation with engineering teams
- Secure research grants and patents for quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum information theory, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ) and error correction protocols
- Excellent Python/C++ skills for quantum simulation and algorithm implementation
