Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols on superconducting qubit platforms
- Develop error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum computing into machine learning pipelines
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with published papers in top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation tools
- Demonstrated experience with superconducting qubit platforms or trapped ion systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complexity theory
- Proven ability to secure competitive research grants (NSF, DOE, etc.)
