Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead research projects targeting fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures by 2026
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to prototype quantum systems with 1000+ qubits
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
