Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Develop error-correction techniques to stabilize qubit operations in real-world environments
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize classical-quantum machine learning models
- Lead experiments on quantum hardware platforms including superconducting and photonic systems
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing curriculum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#) and Python
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Experience with quantum hardware integration and low-level control systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams with physicists and engineers
