Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead research in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop roadmaps for scalable quantum computing architectures
- Secure patents for quantum innovations with commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Published research in quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Ability to secure government and private research funding
