Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype quantum applications
- Research novel quantum error correction techniques
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and conferences
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and interns
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, etc.)
- Ability to secure government or industry research grants
