Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-scale optimization problems
- Design and implement error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic system integration
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Secure $1M+ in annual research funding through grant proposals
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise PhD interns
- Develop IP strategy for quantum breakthroughs with legal team
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Strong track record of securing research grants
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
