Responsibilities
- Design and deploy quantum computing architectures supporting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for real-world problem solving
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware/software integration
- Research and implement novel quantum materials and cooling systems
- Create quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptography standards
- Develop KPIs for quantum advantage benchmarking and performance metrics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS + 8 years experience considered)
- 5+ years designing quantum computing architectures or superconducting systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum materials science and cryogenic engineering
- Experience with AI/ML integration for quantum algorithm optimization
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed contributions
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
