Responsibilities
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic systems and hybrid quantum-classical architectures
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing infrastructure with 99.999% uptime requirements
- Lead implementation of quantum-safe network protocols for 2026 compliance
- Create migration strategies for existing classical systems to quantum-secure environments
- Establish quantum key distribution (QKD) networks across continental infrastructure
- Conduct threat modeling for quantum computing vulnerabilities
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum technology integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing enterprise-grade quantum systems
- Expertise in NIST post-quantum cryptography standards
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Certification in quantum security architecture (QSA or equivalent)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy implications
