Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing hardware architectures
- Develop cryogenic control systems for qubit stabilization at millikelvin temperatures
- Optimize quantum error correction algorithms for fault-tolerant operations
- Integrate classical-quantum hybrid computing workflows
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with physics and AI teams
- Document quantum system performance metrics and optimization protocols
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum benchmarking standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Quantum Computing, or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum hardware design (superconducting qubits, ion traps, etc.)
- Proficiency in low-temperature cryogenic systems and instrumentation
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum-specific frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with high-frequency control electronics and RF engineering
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams in cutting-edge projects
