Job Description
We are pioneering the infrastructure for the future. As we approach the transformative era of 2026, we are seeking a visionary Senior 2026 Readiness Architect to lead our R&D division. In this pivotal role, you will not just build software; you will architect the fundamental systems that will define the digital landscape of the next decade. You will bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI, quantum computing principles, and scalable enterprise architecture.
If you are a forward-thinker who thrives on solving complex, unsolved problems and wants to leave a legacy in the tech world, Horizon Systems is your destination.
Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 Vision: Define and implement the technical roadmap for systems designed to operate in the year 2026, integrating AI-driven decision-making and predictive maintenance.
- Pilot Quantum Integration: Oversee the integration of quantum-resistant cryptography and early-stage quantum algorithms into legacy systems.
- Lead High-Performance Teams: Mentor a team of elite engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and rapid prototyping.
- Future-Proof Infrastructure: Design scalable cloud architectures that anticipate the bandwidth and processing needs of autonomous agents and IoT ecosystems.
- Strategic Consultation: Collaborate with C-suite executives to translate futuristic trends into concrete, executable technical strategies.
- Security by Design: Implement zero-trust security protocols that evolve with the threat landscape of the mid-2020s.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in AI or Machine Learning leadership roles.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Python, C++, and distributed systems; familiarity with quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq) is a major plus.
- Visionary Mindset: Demonstrated ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt architectural strategies years in advance.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects on tight deadlines.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
