In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between visionary foresight and executable engineering. You will be responsible for scoping, designing, and delivering the technological roadmap that positions our company as a market leader by 2026. You will work closely with C-suite executives, product leads, and engineering teams to ensure our infrastructure, AI capabilities, and user experiences are future-proof.

Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the 2026 Strategic Technology Roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate emerging technologies (AI, Quantum, Web3) into existing infrastructures.
- Conduct deep-dive market research to identify disruptive trends and competitive threats.
- Oversee the proof-of-concept phase for high-risk, high-reward innovations.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to translate architectural visions into scalable software solutions.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers on best practices for long-term scalability.
- Measure and report on the performance of technology initiatives against 2026 KPIs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, or strategic technology planning.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in cloud computing (AWS/Azure), distributed systems, and artificial intelligence frameworks.
- Visionary Mindset: Demonstrated ability to anticipate industry shifts and adapt strategies proactively.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performance teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to work out of our San Francisco office at least 3 days a week.
