The Role:
You will lead the development of custom 2D graphics engines, animations, and interactive visualizations. Your expertise in performance optimization and browser compatibility will ensure our products run smoothly across all devices and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize rendering performance and memory usage for high-frequency animation loops.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate static assets into dynamic, interactive interfaces.
- Develop reusable JavaScript libraries and components for the 2D graphics team.
- Debug and troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues, ensuring a seamless experience on all major browsers.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web development and interactive graphics.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency with 2D graphics libraries (D3.js, Pixi.js, Konva.js) and animation tools (GSAP, Anime.js).
- Strong understanding of the Canvas API and WebGL fundamentals.
