The Role
You will be at the forefront of security innovation, designing and implementing robust Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) systems. You will ensure our clients' digital assets remain impenetrable in an evolving threat landscape. Responsibilities
- Design & Architect: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of enterprise-grade 2FA and MFA solutions, integrating with modern protocols like WebAuthn and FIDO2.
- Security Implementation: Develop and maintain secure authentication flows using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Threat Analysis: Conduct rigorous security audits and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in existing authentication systems.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product teams to balance security with usability.
- Compliance: Ensure all authentication mechanisms comply with industry standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on security, identity, and access management (IAM).
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of cryptography, TOTP, push notifications, and hardware security keys.
- Protocols: Proficiency in implementing and securing OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML 2.0.
- Programming: Strong coding skills in Go, Python, or Rust.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or similar security certifications are a plus.
