Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable architectures for large-scale AI models and distributed systems.
- Model Optimization: Lead efforts in fine-tuning and optimizing transformer architectures for real-time inference and edge deployment.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and security experts to translate research into production-ready applications.
- Ethical AI: Establish frameworks and guidelines to ensure AI systems are fair, transparent, and aligned with human values.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high technical standards within the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Machine Learning or Deep Learning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- System Design: Strong understanding of distributed systems, high availability, and microservices architecture.
- Innovation: Demonstrated history of shipping innovative products and patents in the AI space.
