Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 AI Roadmap: Define and execute the technical vision for AI capabilities through 2026, aligning with business goals.
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement robust, high-performance machine learning pipelines and inference engines.
- Model Optimization: Research and implement techniques to improve model accuracy, speed, and cost-efficiency (e.g., quantization, distillation).
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Mentor a team of data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product leadership to identify high-impact AI use cases for the upcoming fiscal year.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all AI deployments adhere to strict data privacy and ethical AI guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead AI/ML architecture role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Experience with distributed computing (Kubernetes, Ray).
- AI Expertise: Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), transformers, and prompt engineering strategies.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguity and drive technical strategy in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
