- Optimization & Performance: Drive performance optimization strategies to reduce latency and improve inference efficiency in real-time environments.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate complex AI concepts into actionable business solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Roadmap Planning: Define the technical roadmap for AI capabilities, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term strategic goals for 2026.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Strong proficiency in distributed computing systems (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Specialization: Proven experience with NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI models.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve ambiguous problems and navigate the trade-offs between model accuracy, speed, and resource cost.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
