Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define and oversee the high-level design of our proprietary AI/ML infrastructure for the 2026 product release cycle.
- System Design: Design scalable distributed systems and deep learning pipelines capable of processing petabytes of data in real-time.
- Team Mentorship: Guide a team of senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Future-Proofing: Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., quantum computing primitives, neuromorphic hardware) to integrate into our core stack.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, researchers, and security experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Drive initiatives to reduce latency and increase throughput of our inference engines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a Lead Architect or Principal Engineer role within AI/ML.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, C++, and modern frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing fault-tolerant, high-availability systems using Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse engineering teams through complex, multi-year projects.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for technical and executive presentations.
