Responsibilities
- System Design: Lead the architectural design of end-to-end AI pipelines, focusing on scalability, latency, and fault tolerance for the 2026 Initiative.
- Model Development: Spearhead the research, training, and deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning agents.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior and senior engineers, conducting code reviews, architectural reviews, and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and security experts to align technical roadmaps with business objectives.
- Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize model performance, reducing inference costs and improving accuracy.
- Standards: Establish and enforce best practices for MLOps, data governance, and ethical AI usage.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in AI/ML architecture and machine learning operations (MLOps).
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Apache Spark, Kubernetes).
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and serverless architectures.
- Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Passion: A strong track record of shipping production-ready AI products in fast-paced environments.
