Nexus Horizon Systems is seeking a visionary Senior AI Architect to lead the development of our flagship 2026 Initiative. We are building the next generation of autonomous decision-making systems and predictive analytics platforms that will define the technological landscape of the coming decade.

In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and production-grade engineering. You will design scalable neural architectures, optimize deep learning models for edge deployment, and mentor a world-class team of engineers. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible with Artificial Intelligence, we want to hear from you.

Why Join Us?

  • Work on cutting-edge projects with a direct impact on the future of technology.
  • Competitive compensation package including equity and performance bonuses.
  • Flexible remote-first policy with a vibrant office culture in the heart of San Francisco.
  • Access to the latest hardware and cloud resources for rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities

  • System Design: Lead the architectural design of end-to-end AI pipelines, focusing on scalability, latency, and fault tolerance for the 2026 Initiative.
  • Model Development: Spearhead the research, training, and deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning agents.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior and senior engineers, conducting code reviews, architectural reviews, and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and security experts to align technical roadmaps with business objectives.
  • Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize model performance, reducing inference costs and improving accuracy.
  • Standards: Establish and enforce best practices for MLOps, data governance, and ethical AI usage.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in AI/ML architecture and machine learning operations (MLOps).
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Apache Spark, Kubernetes).
  • Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and serverless architectures.
  • Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Passion: A strong track record of shipping production-ready AI products in fast-paced environments.
