Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design, train, and fine-tune advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) and neural networks to solve complex business problems.
- Production Deployment: Engineer scalable MLOps pipelines using AWS/GCP to deploy models into high-traffic production environments with low latency.
- Data Engineering: Collaborate with data scientists to curate high-quality datasets and implement data preprocessing strategies.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor model performance, conduct A/B testing, and optimize inference speed and accuracy.
- Research: Stay at the forefront of AI research, publishing papers or presenting at conferences to drive innovation within the organization.
- Mentorship: Lead a team of junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with a proven track record of deploying production-grade models.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and SQL.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to debug complex issues and optimize system architectures for scalability.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
