Responsibilities
- Design, train, and fine-tune large-scale transformer models (GPT, Llama, BERT) for specific domain applications.
- Optimize model inference pipelines to reduce latency and improve cost-efficiency in production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Design) to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
- Implement rigorous testing and validation frameworks to ensure model accuracy, fairness, and robustness.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of the latest research in AI and MLOps to continuously improve our technical stack.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or NLP.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and fine-tuning strategies.
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, AWS SageMaker) and CI/CD pipelines for AI models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
