Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 AI Roadmap: Define and execute the technical vision for AI capabilities leading up to and beyond 2026, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- System Architecture: Design robust, scalable machine learning pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Model Optimization: Oversee the development and fine-tuning of Large Language Models (LLMs) and neural networks to maximize performance and reduce latency.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- R&D: Stay at the forefront of emerging AI trends (e.g., Reinforcement Learning, Federated Learning) and evaluate their applicability to our products.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years focused on AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; deep understanding of distributed computing.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, large-scale technical challenges.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
