We are looking for a visionary Senior AI & Robotics Engineer to lead our R&D division in San Francisco.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical neural networks and physical world applications. You will work on projects that redefine human-machine interaction, ensuring our solutions are ethical, scalable, and transformative.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models, specifically focusing on Computer Vision and Reinforcement Learning.
- Architect scalable data pipelines to handle high-velocity sensor data and real-time inference.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize algorithms for edge devices and robotic actuators.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of autonomous systems in simulated and real-world environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of the latest breakthroughs in AI research and apply them to our product roadmap.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and C++.
- Strong foundation in mathematical concepts including linear algebra, calculus, and probability theory.
- Proven track record of publishing research papers or delivering high-impact commercial products.
- Experience with robotic frameworks (ROS, ROS2) and sensor fusion technologies.
