Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Interpret and execute work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with high accuracy.
- Ensure all installations strictly adhere to local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, and control panels to diagnose and resolve faults.
- Maintain job sites in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and conduct daily safety briefings with the crew.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the State of Louisiana.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial electrical construction or maintenance.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding electrical schematics.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
