Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local building codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials and supplies
- Provide technical guidance during complex troubleshooting scenarios
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Class A or B)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in conduit bending, motor control, and PLC systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC code updates and local regulations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Experience with medium voltage systems preferred
