Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Diagnose and resolve pipe leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NYC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order plumbing materials
- Train junior plumbers on best practices
- Provide emergency plumbing services on-call rotation
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Plumber License (Class 1 or 2)
- 5+ years commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Proficiency in pipefitting, drain cleaning, and fixture installation
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and confined spaces
