Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Perform high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and outlets.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical projects accurately.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and explaining technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot electrical tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Project Support: Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in Oregon.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding electrical schematics.
- Safety: Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and electrical safety practices.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including potential overtime and weekend shifts.
