Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical systems and machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal electrical codes, as well as OSHA safety regulations.
- Lead night shift crews, conducting daily safety briefings and enforcing strict safety protocols.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance, with a proven track record in night shift operations.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, troubleshooting PLCs, and using test equipment (multi-meters, amp clamps).
- Safety: Strong commitment to safety standards; ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team leadership and reporting.
