Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, switchgear, and circuit breakers.
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults in commercial and industrial facilities.
- Install, connect, and test electrical systems, ensuring compliance with NEC and local codes.
- Maintain a safe work environment by strictly adhering to OSHA safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Document all work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Louisiana (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proven track record of successfully working rotating night shifts.
- Strong proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of electrical equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina for fieldwork.
