Responsibilities
- Perform complex electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work on commercial and industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently, minimizing downtime.
- Mentor junior electricians and provide guidance on technical procedures.
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for ongoing projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of New York.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial/residential electrical work.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts.
- Skills: Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
