Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality residential and commercial electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, and panel upgrades.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic testing to troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Prepare detailed job reports and maintain accurate documentation of all installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers and foremen to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
