Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local codes (San Jose).
- Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical problems and determine the best course of action to resolve them efficiently.
- Testing: Use testing devices and software to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Client Communication: Provide exceptional service to clients, explaining technical details in an easy-to-understand manner.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of California.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional electrical experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical theory, electrical codes (NEC), and safety protocols.
- Tools: Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
