Responsibilities
- Execute complex electrical installations: Oversee and perform high-quality wiring, conduit work, and circuit installations for commercial projects.
- Ensure code compliance: Strictly adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Austin building codes to ensure safety and compliance.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Project Management: Assist in reading blueprints and schematics, estimating material requirements, and managing project timelines.
- Safety Leadership: Enforce strict safety protocols on job sites to protect all team members and clients.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior electricians and collaborate effectively with project managers and other trades.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Texas.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, using power tools, and understanding electrical theory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors, withstanding physical demands.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Driver's License: Current, valid driver's license and clean driving record.
