Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and residential properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues quickly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficiency with power tools, testing equipment, and electrical software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
