Responsibilities
- Architect and develop low-level firmware for the 2026 mobile chipset, focusing on kernel optimization and device drivers.
- Collaborate with silicon vendors and hardware architects to resolve critical integration issues and enhance system stability.
- Implement power management strategies to maximize battery life without compromising performance.
- Conduct rigorous debugging and root-cause analysis for complex hardware-software interactions.
- Secure device boot processes and memory management systems against emerging security threats.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior firmware engineers within the embedded systems team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in embedded systems, firmware development, or mobile operating system internals.
- Deep expertise in C/C++ programming and experience with ARM architecture.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux kernel internals and Android/Linux BSP development.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and device tree overlays.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality firmware under tight deadlines.
