Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives and board members
- Author quarterly trend reports distributed to Fortune 500 partners
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen human-AI collaboration systems
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight or technology innovation consulting
- Published portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and scenario planning
- Expertise in systems thinking and complex adaptive systems modeling
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience with ethical AI governance frameworks (IEEE, EU AI Act)
- Strong network connections with DARPA, World Economic Forum, or Singularity University
