As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, AI ethicists, and biotech pioneers to develop actionable frameworks for emerging technologies. You'll lead high-stakes scenario planning sessions and translate complex future trends into executable business strategies that position FutureVision as the undisputed leader in the 2026 paradigm.
Responsibilities
- Develop and publish the annual '2026 Horizon Report' analyzing disruptive technology vectors (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate engineering)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on 2026 strategic imperatives
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness across R&D, product development, and customer experience
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and government agencies (DARPA, NSF) on 2026 research initiatives
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members using immersive visualization tools
- Manage $5M innovation budget for 2026 prototype development and testing
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 10+ years of applied experience
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technological disruption (e.g., Nature Futures, Harvard Business Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI ethics, synthetic biology, climate tech
- Experience securing government grants for forward-looking research programs
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
