Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Develop 2026 strategic scenarios and roadmaps for executive decision-making
- Coordinate with R&D to prioritize moonshot projects aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Deliver quarterly foresight briefings to investors and board members
- Build and mentor a cross-functional futurist task force
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and at global forums
- Establish early-warning systems for disruptive threats
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and sociotechnical systems
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with Delphi method, horizon scanning, and weak signal detection
- Portfolio of published trend reports or strategic foresight projects
- Strong network with innovation labs and research institutions
