Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight research for the 2026 Initiative, identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps spanning quantum computing, AI ethics, and human augmentation
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate futuristic concepts into product roadmaps
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and scenario planning sessions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technology trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, neurotech, and synthetic biology
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making through data-driven storytelling
