Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 technology foresight strategies incorporating quantum computing, climate tech, and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and other future-focused research institutions
- Author seminal white papers on AI governance and ethical automation frameworks for 2026 implementation
- Direct Horizon Dynamics' annual 'Future Forward' summit featuring 500+ global innovation leaders
- Manage $5M annual innovation budget for experimental technology incubation
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders Academy program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Published thought leadership in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or similar top-tier publications
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Deep expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis for 2025-2030 horizons
- Experience advising Fortune 100 C-suite on technological disruption strategies
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive-level stakeholder communications
