We seek a visionary Senior Futurist to decode emerging trends, disrupt traditional planning cycles, and transform uncertainty into competitive advantage. This role combines deep analytical rigor with creative foresight to position our clients at the forefront of innovation.
As a key member of our Global Strategy Division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives across Fortune 500 companies to develop robust 2026 roadmaps. You'll leverage cutting-edge scenario modeling, horizon scanning, and behavioral economics to anticipate technological disruptions, regulatory shifts, and market evolutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios using advanced foresight methodologies including Delphi studies and cross-impact matrices
- Lead multi-stakeholder workshops to identify blind spots in long-term planning
- Design and execute horizon scanning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AGI)
- Produce trend impact reports with actionable recommendations for executive teams
- Build predictive models for climate adaptation, workforce transformation, and supply chain resilience
- Mentor junior futurists in ethical foresight practices and critical thinking
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020+ trend analysis and scenario planning projects
- Expertise in systems thinking, complex adaptive systems, and second-order consequence mapping
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP-LENT)
- Strong background in at least one emerging tech domain (AI, biotech, or quantum)
- Experience with cross-functional leadership in matrix organizations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or University of Houston)
